Assessment Wing
APN Lodge’s Assessment Wing transitions clients safely and effectively into residential treatment at All Points North Lodge – beginning their stay in a private suite with treatment planning, assessment, and an introduction to clinical programming.
What to Expect on the AW
Our Assessment Wing is intentionally designed and programmed to provide a safe place for clients to enter treatment in a private suite (with a balcony) where they participate in testing, programming, and treatment planning. In the first two days, each client takes a COVID-19 test and begins medical, psychiatric, and psychological assessments.
During their stay on the Assessment Wing, clients can participate in therapy groups via our telehealth app, begin some light fitness training, and work with providers to plan and strategize their individual treatment plan going forward.
Approximately 5 hours of programming plus optional groups like AA are available to clients on the Assessment Wing each day via telehealth. After 7 days and negative COVID-19 test results, clients move off the Assessment wing and join their therapy groups and schedule in-person.
Our clinical team assesses the client for seven days to determine the best path forward in treatment.
Assessments may include:
- History and physical
- Mental health (bio-psycho-social) evaluation
- Psychiatric assessment
- Nutrition consultation
- Fitness assessment
- Targeted assessments based on condition and need
