Abe Antine, LCSW
President of Trauma Program
Before joining APN Lodge, Abe Antine was the Founder, CEO, and Clinical Director at Next Chapter Treatment – a successful high-end, all-male trauma and addiction program in coastal Florida. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Abe leads the APN Lodge trauma team in Post Induction Therapy (PIT).
Abe is a fervent advocate of trauma-oriented treatment, believing that every adult dysfunctional behavior pattern has origins in deeply-rooted childhood trauma. To truly change these dysfunctional behaviors, Abe treats the wound of trauma rather than merely reducing its symptoms. His trauma team also champions the integration of the family unit in each client’s treatment. When the entire family system is treated, both the client and family better understand the impact of their own behaviors and roles in client success.
Abe holds a Masters of Social Work degree from Barry University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from John Carroll University. He has extensive training in chemical dependency, sex and love addiction, trauma, and family of origin issues. Heavily influenced by Terry Real, Pia Mellody, Gabor Mate, he previously worked with failure-to-launch and high-end patients at Caron Ocean Drive. Abe is thrilled to bring the clinical expertise and treatment experience of Next Chapter Treatment to the location, amenities, team, and experiential processing opportunities of APN Lodge.
