Robin’s passion for the addiction treatment population sparked in 1998 when she accepted a job as a charge nurse in a Charleston, South Carolina methadone maintenance program. As she advanced in her work, her focus turned to outreach, serving rural community clients battling addiction and other mental health disorders.

In 2006, Robin co-founded October Road, Inc, a privatized behavioral healthcare company in western North Carolina with an emphasis on quality care, wellness, and rehabilitation.
