Joining another creature in movement in an experiential exercise with the capacity to teach us how to cooperate, trust, and support others – whether that be horses or humans.
Distinct from actual equine therapy, horseback allows clients to step out of their comfort zone and trust something outside of themselves.
Horseback riding through the mountain trails surrounded by Aspen trees and tall grass is located just outside the neighborhood of APN Lodge. Trail riding is an included excursion during some of APN Coaching’s Immersive Workshops like the Rise Immersive Workshop.
Though not as targeted as equine therapy, APN therapists can use trail riding with clients as an opportunity for experiential therapy – to practice skills and habits being formed in other aspects of the clients’ time at APN Lodge.
Horseback riding along our town’s many trails provides clients with a sense of freedom while they build a connection to their surroundings.
